Bulletin
The bulletin “Safety of Medicines” published by the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of Serbia (ALIMS) is intended for all healthcare professionals in order to obtain key information and advice for achieving safer administration of medicines.
The bulletin primarily includes new important safety information that was adopted and/or approved by ALIMS (new important warnings and precautions, limitations in the indications, new contraindications, reduction of the recommended dose, new important adverse reactions that are life-threatening for the patient, important changes to a more restrictive issuance regime, in rare cases, termination of the marketing authorization or its temporary revocation for safety reasons, and withdrawal of a medicine from the market), and also general information, advice, and reminders that can be of help in your routine professional practice.
The bulletin emerged as one of the preventive communication activities in order to manage risk, place patient safety in focus and, thus, provide rational pharmacotherapy.
